I got nervous this holiday season - Black Friday is one of the biggest shopping days of the year with steep discounts and huge sales and I was not in a position to be able to do that with my new clothing line that is just developing.

I have been thinking about how to connect with you and make a little difference with Marvalina. This is what I came up with: FORWARD FRIDAY. It is a rift on #buvbackfridav and #payitforward. Here's how it works:
1. Grab that unwanted, forgotten about, white tee or blouse tucked away in your closet. It does not have to be white but it does have to be made of 100% natural material (cotton, silk, rayon linen). You can find this information on the inside label.
2. Put it in a envelope and mail it to me. In order to keep it simple and unified. I will transform it with an arashi dye pattern in a combinations of blues. Then, I will mail it back to you and you will have a one of a kind hand-dyed garment
and a new addition to your wardrobe
3. Costs? Just the shipping fee. But, I ask of you a favor. Take the $25 dollars that I would charge and pay it forward (tip extra to vour favorite bartender, buy your mail person a gift card, purchase from your local clothing designer, donate food to a shelter) whatever feels right for you to do, just do

Little steps make a difference. Best. Maura
